This research paper: A 10 page paper assessing the state of business class air travel in 2004. After dramatic decline during the early years of the new century, business travel appears to be recovering. Most airlines focused on the higher-profit business customer prior to 2000, but certainly not in the manner they are courting him in today’s market. Several airlines, including Emirates Airlines, have made changes specifically targeting the business traveler, but airlines such as SAS and KLM have eliminated the business classes they offered in the past. The purpose here is to assess the changes that have occurred in several of the world’s airlines to explore the viability of Emirates Airlines adding a distinctly separate “premium economy” class. Bibliography lists 10 sources.
