ESSAY ON: Princess Diana And Bulimia Nervosa

Number of Pages 5

This research paper: 5 pages in length. Some people are better equipped to handle the daily inquisition and interruption of privacy that accompanies celebrity status; in fact, there are those who actually thrive upon the unrelenting attention. Princess Diana was not one of these types of individuals, a reality that was punctuated by her ongoing struggle with bulimia nervosa. Quiet and reserved at first blush, Diana was never well-suited for the demands of being a high-profile member of the royal family, however, these traits are precisely what thrust her into the global limelight even more; the public was enamored by her unpretentiousness and genuinely compassionate heart and as such overwhelmed her even more to the point where the combination of her mismatched marriage, tense relationship with the Queen and being left with absolutely no sense of self amidst her very public life added up to her manifesting an eating disorder. Bibliography lists 2 sources.
