This research paper: In 4 pages, this paper discusses how the terms community and aggregate often are used interchangeably, and includes a discussion of whether a group constitutes a community or an aggregate illustrating that such use is not incorrect. Designing or evaluating nursing intervention efforts requires greater precision, however. The senior citizens at The Erie Center of Health and Aging form an appropriate aggregate within the local community of all senior citizens, but care for cancer or stroke patients can be much different than care or heart patients. These all form appropriate and legitimate aggregates of the larger population as well.
