This research paper: 5 pages in length. The Psychiatric Diagnostic Screening Questionnaire (PDSQ) is a widely used industry tool that tests for DSM-IV Axis I disorders that occur most predominantly in people who are at least eighteen years old. The outcome of this screening test, which is administered in either outpatient mental health or medical facilities, is corroborated with interview-based diagnoses as well as diagnostic standards. As of 2003, over three thousand tests had been administered throughout the preceding decade; based upon this data, the PDSQ was proven effective, convenient and reliable, and is still considered so today. Bibliography lists 5 sources.
